LOOK: Makati Subway Breaks Ground, Scale Model Unveiled
The $3.7-billion Makati Subway Project that was set to break ground last December 2018 will be a big help for the citizens of Makati City. The train system spans 10 kilometers passing through key points of Makati such as Greenbelt Mall, Ayala Triangle Gardens, prominent office towers along Ayala Avenue, Makati Fire Station, Makati City Hall, Poblacion/Rockwell Center, up to Ospital ng Makati, University of Makati, which is neighboring Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
The Makati Subway is expected to be fully functional by year 2023. It eyes to serve 27,000 passengers per hour, up to 40,000 during peak hours as per the Makati City government.
"The proposed transport system is seen complementing the mass transport projects of the national government as it would be connected to the MRT stations, the proposed Metro Manila Mega Subway and the Pasig River ferry."
This is great news!
